Designed and hand-built a balsawood airplane for the MESA engineering competition
MENG 767 project:A pneumatic silicone robot that moves.
Designed and fabricated a pneumatic soft robot for a graduate-level robotics course. 3D-printed casting molds shaped the body, EcoFlex 00-35 and Dragon Skin 10 silicones formed the layered structure, and embedded silicone tubes paired with syringes drove the actuation. Iterated through paper-inspired design.
MENG 185 project: soil tester.
A low-cost rover for sampling Martian soil. Swapped a scissor arm for a threaded rod, a pump for a straw, and digital pH transfer for a Bluetooth camera reading the probe.
